Meet Tori, Marketing Executive

Hi Tori! Tell us about your role at Joanie - what does a typical day look like?

My role at Joanie includes all things marketing! I look after scheduling our social media, paid social, influencers, email marketing, and more. A typical day for me is running some sort of report on social media to check how things have been received, scheduling social media for the week, and putting together email campaigns.

What's the best bit about your job?

I love everything about my job - it’s really hard to choose! But I think the best bit about my job is seeing how much the customers love our products, from all the lovely comments on our social media and people sharing their outfits on their social media.

Can you describe yourself in three words?

Dark-humoured dog mum.

How would you define your personal style?

Anything black. Really, it’s rare that I wear colour - if I do, it’s normally paired with something black. It’s taken me a long time to find my style, but once I stopped trying to fit in with the trends, I felt so much better. Some heeled boots are as fancy as I go, and my Pascal Docs are my best friend.

Staff Picks: Tori's Favourites

As I’m sure you can guess, my picks are mostly going to be black, an all-year-round staple colour for me.

Finette Lightning Print Midaxi Tea Dress

Like I said, a little colour is always paired with something black - that’s why this lightning print is perfect for me and was on my wishlist before I even started with Joanie. I’d style this with any of my Docs and a leather-look jacket.

Tai Checkerboard Knit Skirt

I love this Tai Checkerboard Skirt - younger emo me would have died over this skirt! Looks great with a black bodysuit, tights and Sinclair Docs and a fleece or an aviator jacket, or for a more casual look, it teams up well with a band tee.

Mork Short Sleeve Boilersuit

This was my first Joanie piece, and I absolutely love it. I love that I can just throw it on, and I look like I’ve made so much effort.

Candi Check Print Midi Dress

The Candi shape is my favourite dress shape Joanie make - no matter what print, I already know I would love it. This one adds a nice festive touch to my wardrobe and could be dressed up or down - it also makes a nice loose Christmas Day outfit!

Alicia Fair Isle Knit Cardigan

This cardigan is so soft - it’s perfect for winter. It’s a great layering piece to keep you warm, and it also adds colour to darker outfits like black jeans and a band tee, and it looks great over a black dress. Who doesn’t want a stylish but practical cardigan for the colder days?
