The Dawn O’Porter X Joanie collaboration is here! This limited collection has been designed in partnership with author, broadcaster, and Choose Love co-founder Dawn O’Porter, taking inspiration from some of her favourite vintage eras and styles. We’re so excited to have been able to bring Dawn’s vision for the fifth collection to life, featuring a range of bold vintage-inspired pieces we’re sure you’ll love just as much as we do!

T-shirts are one of life's most staple items of clothing, but there's no reason why they should be boring. I love a tee that grabs attention, and it's even better if it's funny. When asked what to put on a T-shirt, I could only think of my favourite things: books, Sandwiches and big cocks. I'm so happy with how they all turned out. Style with a conversation starter - what more do you need from an item of clothing?

As always, working with Joanie has been an absolute delight. It's so good to know that, once the design is done, every effort is made to use the most sustainable fabrics possible, with size inclusivity always a priority. As you can imagine, our design sessions are full of laughter. These clothes will make you feel confident and put a smile on your face. Knowing they are sustainable can make you feel good on the inside, too. Wear these T-shirts casually, or spice up a suit with one underneath to add some personality to a more formal look. Above all, these T-shirts are meant to be enjoyed: stick one on and go and have fun!

Known for her eclectic personal style, Dawn has worked closely with the Joanie team to produce a collection that reflects her unique look and love of vintage clothing.

This brand-new range includes jersey tops, knitwear, dresses, jumpsuits, trousers, and deadstock tote bags in bold prints inspired by some of Dawn’s favourite vintage eras. Every style in the 27-piece collection is made from an environmentally conscious fabric, including BCI cotton, recycled polyester, and Livaeco™ Viscose, as well as some deadstock quilted tote bags made using fabric leftover from elsewhere in the collection.

Dawn has always been passionate about vintage, and we were keen to ensure each of the items in the collection reflected this. Featuring a mixture of eye-catching vintage-inspired patterns, from magical autumnal mushrooms to retro martini glasses and even a hot pink tumbling Siamese cat print, this limited collection is not to be missed!

Dawn O’Porter is an author, director, broadcaster, and co-founder of the charity Choose Love. Known for her investigative journalism, Dawn first made a name for herself in front of the camera in her 2007 BBC documentary Super Slim Me. Since then, she’s presented several documentaries covering everything from attitudes to pregnancy and childbirth to polyamory in the USA and breast cancer. In 2014, Dawn hosted This Old Thing, a Channel 4 series she co-produced exploring vintage clothing that she later adapted into a book.

Now a full-time writer, her first book, Diaries of an Internet Lover, was published by Virgin Books in 2006. In 2013 she released her first novel, Paper Aeroplanes, to great acclaim. Since then, Dawn has published numerous books, including Goose (2014), the follow-up to Paper Aeroplanes, and Sunday Times Bestsellers The Cows (2016), So Lucky (2019), and Cat Lady (2022).

As well as her work as a broadcaster, journalist, and author, Dawn co-founded the charity Choose Love in 2015, whose work provides humanitarian aid to refugees worldwide while providing advocacy for those displaced by war and other global crises.
