    A looser, cooler, kaftan-style dress that cinches in at the waist with a sensational back sash belt that ties in a big bow. Fabulous fluted sleeves and a contrast solid black banded neckline detail add 1970s retro details to this maxi dress, making it a style you’ll keep reaching for in decades to come.

     

    Celia Birtwell says: I designed ‘Mystic Daisy’ in the early ‘70s. It is one of my all-time favourite prints, although it was also one of the quickest to be made! I saw it in my mind’s eye, and within minutes, it was on the drawing board. I think it looks really dignified here – the black yoke and scale used by Joanie make it really attractive.

    This item is made using Livaeco™ Viscose, a rayon fibre made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated into cellulose fibres from certified sustainably managed forests. Livaeco™ Viscose is a breathable, absorbent fabric that makes a great alternative to traditional fabrics like regular viscose and cotton that have a much larger impact on the environment! The production of Livaeco™ Viscose uses less water than conventional viscose, emits a lower level of carbon emissions, and helps maintain forest cover.
