    A ruffled front yoke and covered rouleaux button front add vintage details to a classic bell sleeve maxi dress. A shirred elasticated back panel and adjustable sash leave just enough room to ‘let you eat cake’ at any occasion.

     

    Celia Birtwell says: I have always been drawn to designing romantic prints, and I think that ‘Marie Antoinette’ fits that bill. I designed it in about 1972, and it has had many iterations since. I think that the colourway and shape that has been used here by Joanie sets the print off to its best.

    This item is made using Livaeco™ Viscose, a rayon fibre made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated into cellulose fibres from certified sustainably managed forests. Livaeco™ Viscose is a breathable, absorbent fabric that makes a great alternative to traditional fabrics like regular viscose and cotton that have a much larger impact on the environment! The production of Livaeco™ Viscose uses less water than conventional viscose, emits a lower level of carbon emissions, and helps maintain forest cover.

    We offer a FREE and easy returns process for UK orders via our Returns Portal. See our Delivery & Returns page for further info.

    We also accept international returns, provided that the items reach our warehouse within 28 days of you receiving your order. Return charges are applicable for US customers. We’ve extended our usual returns policy for the Christmas period. Any orders placed from Friday 15th November can be returned up until Friday 10th January. 

    Unfortunately, we are not able to offer exchanges at this time. However, you can return your item for a full refund and then place a new order for your preferred replacement item.
