The Community Clothing X Joanie collection has arrived! Our brand-new range of eight classic stripe tops has been designed in collaboration with the team at Community Clothing with style, practicality, and longevity in mind. All the tops are crafted from super-soft cotton, and the entire collection has been made in the UK in Community Clothing's incredible factories. Founded by Great British Sewing Bee Judge Patrick Grant in 2016, Community Clothing’s mission is to make great quality clothing affordable for everyone.

When Patrick speaks about Community Clothing, it's difficult not to sit up and listen. One, because he does so with such passion and eloquence, and two, because it's a fantastic concept that just makes sense - making great clothes that last locally, and I’m proud that we’re a part of that with our new collaboration. I know these beauties will swiftly become our ‘office uniform’ for years to come here at Joanie HQ.
We believe in wearing our hearts on our sleeves, and because of that, we’ve proudly stamped the CC logo on the outside of these garments. We also love a good stripe, and these ones are named after some of the very best Breton wearers in the ‘biz. Seberg has that red lip classic thing that we like - it never goes out of style. And Belmondo, well, it’s just another word for cool, really.
Lucy, Brand Director
Everything Community Clothing sell is designed and made in the UK in over 30 different factories, helping to provide skilled employment for workers in some of the most economically deprived areas of the UK.
With a focus on seasonless staples - everyday basics like T-shirts, socks, and jumpers - Community Clothing’s business model encourages conscious consumption and circularity. Their goal is to promote sustainability through long-term wear: the longer you have and wear something from Community Clothing, the lower the environmental impact of the garment will be.

I know Lucy, who founded Joanie. We’re friends, and I have a great respect for what she’s done. I love the brand, I think she’s done an amazing job in creating something that provides a lot of joy for so many people, and I think that’s a fantastic thing.
So, what have we done together for the Community Clothing X Joanie collection? Well, we’ve taken a couple of our very best selling products, and we’ve Joanie’d them! In fact, Joanie have Joanie’d them. They are designed by Joanie using Joanie’s fits, but they are made in our amazing factories here in the UK.
We’ve got a couple of simple product types: some lightweight single jersey T-shirts and some slightly heavier-weight classic Breton t-shirts with long sleeves. The Bretons come in a range of super colours, they’re very classic-looking, and the T-shirts are in some amazing, jolly, super-fun stripes - who doesn’t love an amazing, jolly, super-fun stripe? We all do, obviously!
