International Women's Day 2020
This International Women's Day calls for equality. Because as we all know, an equal world is an enabled world. We wanted to mark the day with a few words from Joanie HQ, why we are standing up for #EachforEqual and our little bit about our charity partnership...

Individually, we're all responsible for our own actions, thoughts and drive to fight for equality. We can choose to stand up and challenge stereotypes, broaden perceptions, improve the situation for girls and champion incredible women's achievements. Collectively, we can join together to create a gender equal world. As a women-led company here at Joanie we believe that equality is not a women's issue, but also a business issue. Gender equality is essential for business, world economies and local communities to thrive. We strive to create a more gender equal world that is more harmonious, supporting and lifting up girls and women to realise their potential- no matter what subject or industry they choose to pursue. We all need to join together to create a gender equal boardroom, government, sports world, gender equal media industry and gender equal workplaces. Let's make it happen!
Support The Girls' Network
A great way that you can stand up to fight for change is by inspiring a girl, by becoming a mentor and role model. Our charity partner The Girls' Network are on a mission to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with a mentor and a network of professional female role models. We believe that no girls should have their futures limited by their gender, background, or parental income. The connections created by The Girls' Network help to give girls the confidence and strength to grab opportunities and lift themselves up. We have created the 'Go Go Girls Club' Lada Tee and 50% of the proceeds from each T-Shirt sale will be donated to supporting The Girls' Network.
