Sunday is our fun-day! Our Eight Days of Joanie series continues and today we sit down with Becca, our Customer Service Advisor here at Joanie HQ! Keep on reading to learn more about Becca's work life and what fun things she enjoys doing in her free time…

Easy like Sunday morning! What does your ideal lazy Sunday entail?

I love going out and finding new places to go for brunch on a Sunday. I always get up relatively early so when I’m having a lazy morning I tend to binge watch Netflix and drink copious amounts of coffee until it’s time to head out.

Tell us about your role at Joanie - what does a typical day look like?

I’m here as the contact for all our customers, every query is different, and I’m always kept busy with emails and calls.

What’s the best bit about your job?

We have the best team here at Joanie and I love the clothing so it’s always exciting when a new collection launches. It’s also amazing to speak with our lovely customers every day and hearing positive feedback is fab!

What do you love to do when you’re not at the office?

Besides finding new places to eat and drink in Manchester, I like to get out walking in the countryside. I come from the Lake District so it’s great to get back as often as I can to try and complete my challenge of walking all 214 Wainwright fells before 30.

Can you describe yourself in three words?

Patient, empathetic, clumsy.

What would you say your spirit animal is?

I struggled so I took a test – it would appear I’m a deer!

When you have the deer as spirit animal, you are highly sensitive and have a strong intuition. By affinity with a deer, you have the power to deal with challenges with grace. You master the art of being both determined and gentle in your approach.

The deer totem wisdom imparts those with a special connection with this animal with the ability to be vigilant, move quickly, and trust their instincts to get out the trickiest situations.

How would you define your personal style?

I would definitely say I have a laidback and easy style! I live for comfort and love easy wearing versatile pieces. I have recently been making a conscious effort to introduce some colour to my wardrobe as I seem to be a little too fond of greys and blacks.

Are there any style icons (past or present) that inspire you?

I tend not to have icons as such, I follow trends more than specific individuals. I love the comeback of animal prints and particularly liked how Victoria Beckham styled her shirt dress last month – she always gets it right!

If you could go back and live for a day in any decade, which would you choose and why?

I’d like to go back to the '60s, the era as a whole looked pretty cool! I would also like to experience a day with no technology and see how different every aspect of living is.

Finally, what Joanie pieces are you currently coveting from the new collection?

Harley in Blue is number one on the wish list, closely followed by Camille in Grey (it’s so soft!)
