We are thrilled to be joining forces with the iconic Natural History Museum to create this range, with a focus on the Museum’s expansive heritage and commitment to sustainability. This retro collaboration collection is inspired by vintage gift shop souvenirs, and every single piece in the range is made from a responsible fabric, including Organic Cotton, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, and Livaeco™ Viscose! We’re proud to be an official licensing partner of the Museum, helping to support the fantastic research and archivism that they do.

    We’re keeping things coral this summer in Vada! This vintage-inspired sundress is crafted from a soft and breathable organic cotton barkcloth with added stretch for comfort in an all-over pink-toned deep sea print based on 19th-century illustrations of the Great Barrier Reef by William Saville-Kent. Featuring a scoop neckline, functional button-through fastenings to the front with Corozo buttons, and a knee-length skirt with pockets at the hip, it’s no wonder Vada is o-fish-ally our new favourite summer dress!

    The illustrations from this print are inspired by the artworks featured within the publication The Great Barrier Reef of Australia by William Saville-Kent. Saville-Kent (1845-1908) was an English marine biologist and author who moved to Australia, where he set about collecting, drawing, and painting the remarkable corals of the Great Barrier Reef, the biology of which was little understood at that time.

    Corozo

    The buttons on this product are made from Corozo, a sustainable alternative to traditional virgin plastic buttons. Corozo, also known as Tagua, is a species of tropical palm native to South America. The buttons on this garment are made from seeds that have been carefully harvested from inside the large nuts that grow on Corozo trees - their dense fibres make them a perfect alternative to virgin plastic buttons, and they can be machine washed, steamed, and ironed!
