Festival fashion can be quite stressful. Finding the perfect balance between style and comfort can be challenging, especially when you take into consideration the changing in a tent and peeing outside situation...

Joanie Style Advice:

Here's some helpful tips and ideas on what to and not to pack this summer.

1.Playsuits

We love them, it's true. They look perfect styled with wellies, we know. But, for us it's a no for a festival. Just think about the toilet situation Joanie Gals... whilst trying to squat as lady like as possible over the grubby toilet seat, do you want to be completely naked? No, us either.

2. Layers

It may be British summertime, but it will still feel like the middle of winter come 1AM. So make sure to pack light layers that can be thrown into your backpack for later.

3. Slogans Tees

Stand out from the... (hundred thousand people) crowd with a hip, cool slogan tee. It will also liven up a plain outfit! Slogan tee and a denim skirt... a festival winner!

4. Floral

Let's be honest. Florals are bloomin' lovely for a festival, whether they're in your hair or on your clothes. You're so at one with nature at these festivals, sitting in fields of grass, discussing peace and love... enjoying a nice, warm cider.

5. ENJOY!

It's good to be organised and happy in your outfit choices. But, how much are you going to care when you're having the best weekend of your life? So pack options and try to pack items that can be mix and matched. That way in the morning you can grab some fresh clothes, apply more glitter and go and enjoy the festival!

Blogger Style with Georgia Harrup:

This is a special mention to our good friend and honouree Joanie Gal, Georgia Harrup, for styling some festival suitable outfits for us.

Dixie

Go from a casual day chill round the camp to dancing in the early hours with this dress. This curve-skimming-yet-cute polka dot pencil dress is perfect for them festival feels! The addition of flowers in the hair has soon become a festival uniform, take it down to a pair or singular flower for a more classic styling.

Farrah

We didn't call this item the 'Farrah Can Can Dancers Frill Jumpsuit' for nothing! This dress will have you high kicking in no time. In typical fashionista style, Georgia has made this style her own: by replacing the provided belt with one of her own and using the belt as a head band. I think you'd agree Joanie Gals, the belt headband really does give it more of a festival style! We're loving this stand out outfit for this year's festivals. But beware Joanie Gals... the toilet situation still prevails.
