Team Volunteering Day With Cats Protection
To celebrate our purr-fect charity collaboration with Cats Protection, members of the Joanie Team spent a day volunteering at a local centre. Read on to learn more about Cats Protection and the important work our collaboration will help fund!
What Do Cats Protection Do?
Cats Protection is the UK’s largest cat welfare charity, helping an estimated 157,000 cats and kittens a year through their national network of around 210 volunteer-run branches and 34 centres. Since its foundation in 1927, the organisation has worked tirelessly to champion the rights of cats and provide cat care information through its publications, National Information Line, and the help and advice section on its website.
From rehoming and neutering cats to educating future cat owners on how to properly care for their pets through free talks, lesson plans, and engaging videos, Cats Protection help people see the world through cats’ eyes. Their vision is a society where every cat has the best possible life because they are protected, cared for and understood by everyone.
We're donating £5 from the sale of every Bombalurina Tee to Cats Protection to help fund their vital work!
Joanie Volunteer Day at Cats Protection
To celebrate the launch of our Bombalurina Tee, two members of the Joanie Team volunteered at the North Manchester centre. All the funds raised will go directly to this site, so it was great to see first-hand where the proceeds of the collaboration will be going!
We’re so excited to be working with Cats Protection on this charity tee. The work they do across the country as an organisation is incredible, and to be able to see first-hand where the funds we’re raising will be going is so rewarding: we volunteered at our local centre and had such a lovely day caring for and playing with the cats, and we’re so happy that the money raised through sales of the Bombalurina T-shirt will help the team at Cats Protection continue their important work.

At Cats Protection, our purpose is to help people see the world through cats’ eyes, so we were delighted to welcome the Joanie Clothing Team to our North Manchester Centre to experience a day in the life of our cats in care. As a thank you for their hard work clearing pens, ready for the new intake of cats and kittens, the team enjoyed cuddles with some of the cats currently waiting for their forever homes. We are truly grateful for the support of Joanie Clothing, which will help us continue caring for cats and kittens across North Manchester and work towards our vision of a society where every cat has their best life because they are protected, cared for, understood and valued by everyone.
