The archer symbol is very apt for Sagittarius, the high aim of his arrow represents the Sagittarian instinct to engage the higher mind. The archer shoots his arrow with the objective of covering a great distance; as the traveller of the zodiac, the foreign destination of the arrow shows the Sagittarian need for adventure, both of the geographical and spiritual kind. Sagittarians are cosmic libraries, they’re always looking to broaden their personal horizons whilst encouraging the rest of us to do the same. Sagittarians are avid culture vultures, their curiosity for travel sees them adopting and collecting philosophies from around the globe.
