Why does Joanie now charge for returns?

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact, we want to minimise unnecessary returns wherever possible. From transportation to repackaging and processing at our warehouse, returned parcels increase our overall emissions and impact our operational costs.

Orders placed from Tuesday 12th of August 2025, will be charged £3 for returns within the UK. By charging for returned parcels, we hope to reduce our overall emissions, in line with the sustainability goals we’ve set for ourselves as a B Corp.  

This small contribution helps reduce the environmental and financial impact of returned parcels, allowing us to keep creating high-quality, future-vintage pieces you’ll wear and love for a lifetime.
