Here's our inspirational Bristol City Guide with She & Hem! She & Hem are a blogging duo based in Bristol, they share their colourful style and travels over on their blog. The gals created an insiders guide to their home city of Bristol- from the best brunch spots to the pretty vintage shopping streets...

We simply adore our home city of Bristol and love any excuse to show of it’s colourful style. Come and join us as we give you our guide to the perfect Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion day out.

Feeling peckish? We are spoiled for choice for places to eat in Bristol. Looking for a sweet treat? We recommend visiting Pinkman’s to try one of their incredibly naughty sourdough-nuts or head to Cox and Baloney’s Tearooms for a fabulous vintage afternoon tea. If you’re looking for something savoury why not sashay on over to Ceres Coffee in Stokes Croft for the most delicious (and instagramable) food you will ever eat.Bristol City Guide with She & Hem

We would highly recommend starting your day with their fat pancakes before taking a stroll up the Gloucester road, taking in the quirky neighbourhoods of Montpellier and St Andrew’s whilst dipping in and out of the many independent shops and soaking up the culture and colour of the area. Need more? Well, we are also big fans of Bakesmiths, Jamaica Street Stores and Bambalan but the list is quite honestly endless.Bristol City Guide with She & HemNow that you’re suitably stuffed, it’s time to get your sensible shoes on as we love nothing more than strolling round the picturesque streets.  Bristol is full of lovely hills, which we promise are well worth climbing! You can’t beat a meandre up through the colourful houses of Cliftonwood and then on to Clifton Village, where you can see the famous Suspension Bridge and have a little explore of all the fancy shmancy boutiques. Don’t fancy the hills? We also highly recommend doing the harbourside walk which gives you the ultimate view across the water and doesn’t require an asthma inhaler.Bristol City Guide with She & HemWe also flippin’ love a hot air balloon around these parts so no true Bristol day out would be complete without pointing at the sky as one floats over. Make sure to come and visit in August when it’s the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and hundreds take to the sky each day. It’s one of the most beautiful things you will ever witness (well, that and the fat pancakes at Ceres).Bristol City Guide with She & HemShop the look: Agatha Jumper, Lydia Check Trousers
