We caught up with Joanie Gal, Supal from Chevrons and Éclairs before she headed to India Fashion Week this week wearing our gorgeous Parker dress. Read on for our exclusive blogger interview!

Supal did a fun Instagram story take over for Joanie at India Fashion Week (go check it out before you're too late).

We admire Supal for her work ethic, ambition and superior sense of style. We wanted to learn a little bit more about her and her life as a blogger, here's what we found out...

IFW Chevrons and Eclairs

Please give us a brief description of your life as blogger?

I like to call Chevrons & Éclairs a “travel lifestyle” blog. I do travel quite a bit for work, seeing family and for pleasure — so I’ve combined all of that with my love for food, fashion and storytelling too!

Describe a typical day…

I usually start around 6am and address blog emails and duties. After a 20 minute HIIT workout, I head over to meet with clients or get some work done for the consultancy. Around lunch, I grab my tripod and go shoot something for the blog before a long afternoon behind a desk working towards deadlines/meetings/press days or whatever the day brings really. When I come home, I usually end up cooking a homecooked meal and then work into the night editing the photos from that day and sorting out plans for upcoming projects be it for the consultancy or the blog. I literally don’t have a single day that mimics the other!

What's the best part of your job?

I can’t choose between the travel and that no two days are the same.

What's your typical "go to" Friday night drink?

Negroni.

What item can you not leave the house with?

My iPhone (mostly for the camera).

In your wardrobe, what item can you not live without?

I have a DVF wrap dress that is my go-to that I always style in different ways if I’m in a sartorial rut.

How would you describe your style?

Classic with a twist!

What are your fave autumn winter pieces from Joanie?

I always love the frocks from Joanie and the Bentley Poppy Print Wrap Dress is my favourite. I love that it could be worn with short heels for a luncheon, touched up with a biker leather jacket or even worn with sweet ballet flats for a weekend look.

What would be your PERFECT Joanie weekend outfit?

A cute Joanie tee and a denim skirt!

What's your favourite book?

Tuesdays with Morrie – such a beautiful theme of treasuring life and its relationships.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?

Tokyo!

What would your spIrit animal be?

My friends and colleagues think I’m a shark because I’m ambitious and will always persevere to get what I want.

If you could give your 16-year-old self any advice, what would it be?

Don’t touch your eyebrows!
