Easter Brunch Inspiration

Here at Joanie we can’t wait for our Easter Brunch filled with delicious food, a few cocktails and of course copious amounts of sweet treats! To give you a few ideas here's our Easter Brunch Inspiration...

Easter Brunch: Obsessed with brunch like we are? Bloggers Elsie and Emma of A Beautiful Mess have given us serious food envy with their pink pancakes. We love the look of these pink bunny pancakes with a strawberry glaze- simply use your go to pancake mix and add a few drops of pink food colouring to create your desired shade of pink- naughty we know but if you can’t at Easter, then when can you?Easter Brunch InspirationIf you’re after more of a savoury Easter Brunch recipe, then head over to Madeleine Shaw's blog for the perfect egg dish recipe. Perhaps you want to save your over indulgence for later on, so we have a light alternative for you to try by food guru Madeleine Shaw. You can pick and choose your fillings but keeping in line with Easter definitely opt for eggs and add spinach, mushroom and goats cheese to your liking, all encased inside a buckwheat crepe.

Easter Drinks: For a cocktail that screams springtime, fruity flavours are always a good option. This cheerful and refreshing Grapefruit Spritz created by Leela Cyd for the ever-inspiring Design Sponge Blog will be perfect for your (hopefully) sunny afternoon. Prep is key, make sure you have plenty of pretty flower heads and slices of colourful lemon and limes to garnish your springtime cocktail. When Easter Sunday arrives simply crack out your Joanie sunglasses and head out into the garden!

Where to go: If you’re day tripping it to London for your Easter weekend, then be sure to drop in at Cafe Miami. Following in Liv Purvis' footsteps we are seriously obsessing over this cute café full of sweet treats. Check out Liv’s blog post for more details...

Easter Decorations: Hosting your very own Easter Brunch is definitely an excuse to have fun with decoration! Get hands on with DIY rabbit bunting- or decorate trees with biscuit treats, stemming from the German tradition you could add hollow eggs also- get creative! Take a look at The Biscuiteers step by step guide for more inspiration.

Have a lovely Easter Weekend gals and be sure to let us know if you try any of the above!
