It is officially transition season gals…yes, yes we know - that awkward time of the year where you can’t decide whether you should be wearing a slinky sun dress or heavy duty puffer coat! Here at Joanie HQ we have just released latest collection, featuring a selection of super soft jersey pieces.

The range includes a selection victoriously versatile bodysuits…perfect to pair with all your fave pieces. So, if you’re on the lookout for some layering inspo, keep on reading!!!

Prudence Pinafore

First up we take a look at our (pretty much lifesaving) Black Bodysuit, Sedgwick. This bodysuit is when you need a bit of warmth but don’t quite feel ready for the roll necks just yet. Sedgwick is a superbly slimming fit that has a classic scoop neck and long sleeves, aka. Fabulous with a skirt like Estelle. Brave the cold with bare legs or cosy the look up with some woolly tights and chic sneakers.

If you fancy something a bit bolder then an all-black everything look, give our leopard print Selina a go! This wild piece adds a pop of print to any simple look and works wonderfully under a plain black pinafore like Molly or dungarees like Kareema. Rock this roar-some look with some minimal monochrome sneakers or dress it up in Molly with some chunky ankle boots and you’re ready to hit the town!

Ok so perhaps leopard print isn’t your cup of tea…don’t fret. If you are still in the mood for some print this season why not go for a more subdued striped option? Our Sedgwick and Selina bodysuits both come in a striped style. If you want a lighter look, try our Selina in a pastel blue and white stripe. This piece is a great way to still wear pastels in the chillier months, as well as the roll neck you can add more warmth to this outfit by layering it with our Apron pinafore in the pretty Pink shade!

Last but definitely not least, if you are wanting to go for a luxurious layered look, check out our Black Selina and Sedgwick layered up with the Prudence pinafore and Vilma skirt. The Prudence and Vilma are made out of a metallic jacquard style fabric that adds some extra opulence and richness to the basic bodysuit. The selection of tones in both pieces against the black bodysuits means it can really stand out for all the right reasons!
