Describe your job role...

Creative Manager at Joanie Clothing

Explain a typical day in your job role…

My days vary quite a lot, at any one time you can find me working on lots of different things from organizing photoshoots, planning the Joanie website graphics to planning fun blogger events

I usually wake up at…

Anytime between 7am and 8.30am

My usual breakfast is…

I usually have a homemade Glo Bar inspired by one of my favourite food bloggers Angela Liddon of Oh She Glows and pretty much always have a cup of coffee with almond milk

I am responsible for…

I’m responsible for making sure the Joanie brand is the most delightful it can possibly be for all the lovely Joanie gals! I’m the gal in charge of making sure the look and feel of all the photography, social content, lookbook and overall pizazz is ever so Joanie

After work I enjoy…

I love doing yoga, meditating and having ridiculously long luxurious baths. I also blog over at The Fabulous Times. I’m partial to a spot of travel (currently obsessed with anything Italian), I thoroughly enjoy eating good food and ogling over interior design magazines

What’s your typical Friday night go-to-drink?

I’m a bit of a Grandma so I’m more often than not found drinking chamomile tea on a Friday night

What can you not leave the house without?

My mobile phone and Filofax (80’s business man style) and probably the relaxation Lavender roll on from Neals Yard, it helps to create a moment of calm on a hectic working day

In your wardrobe, what item can you not live without?

A classic stripy Breton top is pretty much essential

You’re given a plane ticket titled ‘anywhere!’… where do you go?

Sicily or Capri, really loving Italy at the moment

What would you spirit animal be?

An internet quiz told me I was a cute kitten? I guess I do have some similar tendencies (eating fish dishes, cuddles and sleeping)

What is your favourite book and why?

Tough question. I’d say The Simple Abundance Companion by Sarah Ban-Breathnach has remained firmly fixed on my bedside table for at least the past five years, it always offers a little daily wisdom and reminds me to appreciate the little things in life

If you could give your 16 year old self any advice, what would it be?

Trust your gut, it’s ok to say no to stuff. Oh and stop eating gluten and dairy
